In the summer of 2013 I co-founded the Transom Traveling Workshop on Catalina Island. Veteran radio producer and teacher Rob Rosenthal and I started with 10 students. The workshop was a hit and expanded to other locations around the world. But the Traveling Workshop never returned after the pandemic and I found myself missing the experience of teaching. So I launched the Third Wave Podcast Workshop.
